Please introduce yourselves, either in the comments section of this post, or feel free to create your own post (a good idea for a practice run!). I will start: I am Christina Jones, from College Station, TX, and am 37, with 3 children aged 20 (by marriage), 11 and 7. Although I (so far) have not had to deal with MRSA in my own body, I have been a caregiver to my husband who came very close to his death battling the bug. I have joined this group in the hopes that I will learn much more about being healthy, and enabling my body (and by association, my family’s bodies) to make use of its God given abilities to heal and protect itself. I have always been one to minimize the importance of the “healthy stuff” with the attitude that “if everyone else is doing it, it must be fine” –take organic vegetables as an example of this (a small example, there are MANY!). I have never seen the need for this in the past, but I am starting to see it now. Might be an aging thing, along with the horrible MRSA scare. That’s enough for now, I imagine you will be hearing more about me than you ever cared to know before this is over with, and I might as well leave a bit to be learned. Ha! […] Just a few notes on how this group is (hopefully) going to work. As you get registered, we will enable you to create posts. Give us a bit of time to get this done, and then please introduce yourself, if only for the “breaking of the posting ice!” You can always comment on other posts before we have your posting account ready. Denise and I will be posting general thoughts and information, and you are free to post your thoughts either as new posts, or as comments on any other posts. We hope you all will participate–we can learn so much more with everyone’s input! […]

Most know me through Christina & Denise’s MRSA resources group, so I’ll wait for the introduction pages to come up next week (11/21). I’m here and soooo excited and interested in how this will help our lives. I’m now at 10 months dealing with MRSA. Many many thanks to all who have put this together with Dr. Weil
Love to all-
Peg~
